I’ll add more resources to this section soon, in the meantime find my own recipes and experiences with food by clicking on the “food” link on the left hand navigation bar. It’s mostly smoothie recipes so far.
A few of my favorite cookbooks:
The 10 Things You Need to Eat by Dave Liebermand and Anahad O’Connor. Unlike other cookbooks about superfoods, this book highlights 10 superfoods that are commonly found in most grocery stores and are not expensive. The recipes are very easy, quick and delicious. I particularly recommend the section on quinoa.
Mark Bittman’s Kitchen Express by Mark Bittman. This is more of an ingredient book than a cookbook. It is full of “recipes” for people who are used to substituting and adjusting ingredients. That doesn’t mean you have to be a great cook. I’m not. But it does mean you should be comfortable cooking and seasoning to taste.
Food 2.oby Google’s chef, Charlie Ayers. I love this cookbook. It is full of healthy food that keeps you full and gives you energy. Not only that, there are a ton of recipes for brown bag style lunches and snacks on the go. Everything is very easy and quick. I’m particularly fond of the fish taco recipe.
